Owner Jessica Edgerly's interest in animals began when she was a young child. After earning her Business Degree at Middlesex Community College, her interest led her to the United States Canine Academy in Waterbury, CT where she pursued a career in dog training. She graduated in 1997 with a certificate in Dog Training. She then attended Cornel University for Animal Behavior workshops, earning a Certificate in Animal Behavior.
She worked as a groomer at Shaggy Dog in Middletown. She was a dog trainer for Petco in Newington, Manchester and Waterford. She then began her own pet sitting business in 2000 where she services cats, dogs and farm animals. Her client base includes over 50 highly satisfied customers.
Jessica currently owns and loves three Doberman Pinschers; Mercedes, Chloe and Major, a Miniature Pinscher named Jazz and a Boder Collie, Montana. All of her dogs have their AKC Canine Good Citizen title. She is currently showing and training her dogs for breed obedience and agility. Jazz is currently the number 2 Min Pin in the U.S. for Rally-O Obedience.
