JESSICA EDGERLY

Owner and Trainer

Jessica Edgerly has been training dogs for over 25 years, developing high-level working and performance dogs across multiple disciplines. With a background in agility, rally-obedience, dock-diving, frisbee, herding, nosework and barn-hunt, Jessica has earned numerous regional and national awards with multiple dogs and breeds.

As the owner of Central K9 Goose Patrol, Jessica specializes in training and working Border Collies for professional goose control and sheep herding. Her dogs are trained with purpose, precision, and progression-based methods that focus on building reliability, clarity and strong handler communication. She also trains and sells working Border Collies suited for livestock work and goose patrol services.

Jessica believes there is no “cookie-cutter” approach to dog training. Every dog is different, and every handler deserves education and support. She focuses not only on developing skilled working dogs, but also on teaching clients how to become confident, capable handlers.

Her dogs have appeared on major national platforms including ESPN, Good Morning America, the Puppy Bowl, and the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. She has also been featured on Better Connecticut discussing dog training and behavior topics.

Above all, Jessica believes in honest, professionalism and making every client feel valued. At Central K9, you’re never just a number – you’re part of a team committed to excellence.
