THE FIRST NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED DOCK DIVING FACILITY IN CT
Central K9 DIVING DOGS is our outdoor dock and pool used for dock diving classes and events. Both the dock and pool are 40 ft. long (national standard for competition). We are also a fully authorized, nationally sanctioned dock diving facility by North America Diving Dogs (NADD website).
NADD is the only dock diving organization whose titles are recognized by AKC (American Kennel Club website). Dogs of ALL breeds and mixes are invited to participate in any of our dock diving activities – Try It Classes, K9 Swim, Dock Practice, and National Events.
Dogs compete for Titles and recognition by Class (lap and open) and Division (Novice, Junior, Senior, Master, Elite).
CK9 is the first nationally recognized dock diving facility in CT.
EVENTS
Once the team (you, your dog, and an optional second person to hold your dog) is ready, you can enter and compete in nationally sanctioned dock diving events. These are usually two – three day events and you may attend all or a portion of the event. All of our events are nationally sanctioned by North America Diving Dogs (NADD), and several of our staff are national NADD judges.
- Dogs compete in different classes and divisions so competition is as fair as possible for both small (Lap) and large (Open) dogs. Jumps are measured where their tail/butt enters the water by nationally certified judges.
