Central K9 Dog Training & Canine Sports Center is one of the most well-rounded dog training facilities in CT, offering a full range of classes for dogs of all ages, breed, and temperament. Both group and private classes are available. Our indoor facility offers training classes year round (including Barn Hunt). Our outdoor canine center offers dock diving and disc on a seasonal basis (typically May – October).
National events in Barn Hunt (BHA) and Dock Diving (NADD) are also conducted by our staff at CK9.
DOG TRAINING & CLASSES
In our heated & cooled indoor facility, we offer year round classes in:
- AGILITY – Basic thru Master
- OBEDIENCE – Puppy, Basic, Family, Competition, and CGC (Canine Good Citizen)
- BARN HUNT -Try Barn Hunt classes thru Master, plus multiple EVENTS thru the year…
- DISC – Try Disc classes thru advanced skills and games. We begin indoors and go outdoors as the dog’s skills (and yours) improve. We also hold UpDog events through out the year! Please contact us for more info on Disc!
Meet the Owner
Jessica Edgerly
Jess has been an avid K9 trainer since 1997. She is a nationally certified Barn Hunt, NADD Dock Diving, and frisbee judge. In addition to training all of the disciplines available from CK9, Jess also actively participates and competes in all of the K9 specialties offered at Central K9.
In addition to her business degree from Middlesex College, Jessica also holds a certificate in Dog Training from the United States Canine Academy and a certificate in Animal Behavior from Cornell University for Animal Behavior.
